Joinig Server With Password Through Console

when i want to join a server and i cant see the server in my favorites and then i connect through console and then it says incorrect password so how should i exactly type in console to connect a server with password?
for example when my password is ''baltic'' then do I go

connect 80.79.117.141:27023 baltic

or how?
